**Disclosure: As a #VZWbuzz team member, I was provided the Nokia Lumia 2520 Tablet. My opinions are always my own.
Although I don’t go on tropical adventures as often as I’d like, I do journey home to Maui at least once a year. I’m there for awhile and it’s always awesome to see my Maui ohana, but there’s always work that needs doing too. I have to pack up the appropriate gadgets and tools to make that work happen.
Each trip, I try to be as minimalist as possible. But I have to bring along some (my justification begins here) work tools so I can complete tasks. I set them all out and try to narrow it down to a must-have basis.
But I soon cave, and inevitably, I bring all the gadgets. I mean what if I need it for some reason? What if my phone dies and I’m on Maui? What if a meteor strikes earth and I miss a photo — or maybe someone orders Hula Pie and I miss posting it’s deliciousness? You never know right?
Bringing a couple small devices is one thing, but really it’s the laptop I’ve been trying to do without on trips. Too bulky and a hassle to carry around from place to place once you’re at your destination. I end up using it only in the evening once the day is over. But I still always bring it “just in case”. I’ve been waiting for a tablet that I love enough to dare to go… lap-topless.
Nokia Lumia 2520 Tablet to the rescue.
Being the impatient new gadget learner that I am, I was looking for a tablet that was easy to use but also fun to use at the same time. I’m a visual person so how it looks and feels is important to me. I don’t think there’s a perfect tablet — just a tablet that’s perfect for you and your lifestyle. For me, no matter what tech features it has, if I find using it a hassle I simply won’t use it.
Some things I personally love about the 2520 are:
•Easy to use right from the start
•Fun and visually dynamic
•Loaded with all the options and app choices I need to fit my life
•Perfect portable travel size.
Adding the Nokia Power Keyboard (in red) with it’s extra battery makes it the solution I was looking for. I know I’ll have some last minute panic as I leave my laptop behind, but the need to travel lightly is a big stress-reducer for me — and that makes it a healthy choice!
What devices do you travel with? Are there any you wouldn’t dare leave behind?
