*This giveaway has ended*

I really think I left the best for last in the series of giveaways. Maybe a it’s a personal preference, but for me Power 90 was the beginning of a love for home workouts.

  1. I used to be much worse at dropping healthy eating for the holidays. Then I started building a library of great tasting healthy special dishes one can enjoy for the holidays. Last but not least, holidays can be a “try every dessert” type of feast. Now I limit myself to just one spectacular dessert, or small tastes if there is more than one which peques my interest.

  2. Yes, I do slack. But I am going to try and not slack this year. I really want this one….

    • Hi Allison, i think we need to start a holiday support group to battle the temptation! And this is a good one (power 90)–was so excited to post!

  3. Sure, I’m game for a giveaway! I don’t take many long vacations but we went to San Diego for a week this summer. The first morning I got up early and did cardio – great, I thought, this is easy! But after that, I didn’t do a thing. I surprised myself – I couldn’t even get motivated to pick up my bands. I think it was b/c I needed to be in my routine and in the gym. I’m going to see if I can do better my next vacation!
As far as food goes, if there’s goodies or fattening food around during holidays I’ll have a little, but I don’t go crazy. My body just doesn’t like that kind of food anymore.

    • Hi Suzanne, glad you stopped by! 🙂 Vacations are funny. Sometimes you want to do tons of stuff and sometimes nothing. Maybe our bodies are telling us to rest. Oh and yay! for you during the holidays! That’s a tough one for lots of people!

  4. I absolutely slack during the holidays….it’s so easy to get comfy inside and enjoy all the baked goods.

  5. Not only do I slack off during the holidays, but any time I get busy or stressed, which are unfortunately the times I need to exercise and eat healthy the most!

    • I think it’s so easy to eat emotionally. I keep finding myself going back to that subject again and again. It really makes you wonder how much of the obesity problem is directly tied to eating for reasons other than hunger. Thanks for stopping by Matt 🙂

  6. I don’t change my eating habits too much during the holidays (unfortunately that shows how bad they are all during the year!)

  7. I can’t slack TOO badly, cuz I have to go gluten-free, so that cuts out most temptations! I DO need to motivate myself to get my butt moving more often! That’s probably my year-round slacking issue 🙁

    • Really what a great time to actually go gluten free! Motivation is the key to almost everything isn’t it? 🙂 Thanks for commenting Gina.

  8. Debbie Terry says:

During the holidays, I find myself eating for entertainment. Instead of a drink we chat over holiday food.

  9. Good One Joyce!! I LOVE Tony Horton and what he provides! P90X is amazing and I am convinced it works and it gives results!! I am still doing my P90X 6 months later!! Because I just love it!!

    • Hi Francis, I agree! Tony Horton’s stuff has been huge in my life & tons of other people I know & that’s way before I was ever involved with beachbody as a company. I wish he would do more motivation speeches!

  10. This a good one to give away Joyce! Just so ya know I finished my 90 days with Power 90 a week and a half ago and I lost 27 pounds! It’s a great program and it really works! You’re awesome for giving away such great programs.

  11. I usually don’t change my eating habits over the holidays. I just vow to put in extra workouts. This year my children are old enough to need to explain about habits so as a role model I will have to be good…at least until they go to bed=)

    • Another great idea! Extra workouts are a perfect way to combat the slip ups during the holidays. btw, the worst is when they wake up to get a drink of water & catch you with your head in the fridge. at least that’s what I’ve heard 😉

  12. It’s the colder weather more so than the holidays…but I guess I do slack off on healthy eating and fitness that time of year!

    • Last year I made some crock pot type meals that were warm & comforting but were healthy. The house smelled great & it was guilt free! Maybe I need to gather a bunch of those recipes for the holidays to post!

  13. Yeah, I do slack some on the holidays. It’s harder to find time to exercize and food is wayyy too abundant. Power 90 looks great though!!

    • Abundant is the right word! It’s all about what choices to make out of that abundance. A full plate of healthy with bits of goodies. Also I find eating before I go to a get together is helpful too. I try never to go where there will be lots of temptation on an empty stomach.

  14. I slack off healthy eating anytime I’m on vacation or during holidays – it’s tragic!
It’s like a horrible nosedive and takes twice as much effort to get back to where you were.

  15. I always slack off during the holidays. I can’t pass up my grandmother’s food 🙂

  16. Leslie Eaton says:

I want it I need it need some motivation……..Holiday food is so good and Cookies are my downfall 🙁

  17. Melanie Berezan says:

Yup, I slack off for sure…always thinking working out = eat whatever I want. Oops! Fail! 🙂

    • Hi Melanie 🙂 i think that only works after a marathon which might be a good motivator to do one! Thanks for stopping by!

  18. I slack off alot! Holidays are no exception unfortunately. I need something to get my rear in gear!

    • Hi Ellen, you’ll find a post before this (scroll to bottom on left to see recent posts) called “How Getting Fit is Like Getting Married” ..you might find it helpful (I hope 🙂 regarding sticking to a goal. I always say that fitness is 90% (somewhat an exaggeration to make the point) in your head– the rest is easy. 🙂
